I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much from a theme that has been written many times before. But this author wrote a terrific story!
I can't count how many times I've read stories about a "marriage in name only" that turns into true love. I passed on reading this book several times because it sounded like the same old story. Finally, I gave it a try by reading the Kindle free sample. It drew me right in. I bought the Kindle version and devoured it. So what made this story different? The author didn't just tell a story, she created a vivid picture of life in the old west. Realistic characters, romantic tension that kept me interested in seeing a relationship develop, glimpses into the hero's past that made him human,

Good western romance
This was a very enjoyable read. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters very much. The hero and heroine were beautifully written and enjoyable. This was a book I had a hard time putting down, and one I would highly recommend to lovers of good western romance. I look forward to reading more of this authors books as she is an excellent writer.

Super western!
I found this author on a blog hop. Her snippets were so good I had to read the rest of the book. I wasn't disapointed. The heroine as feisty and spirited, not willing to be run by a man. The hero, an ex bounty hunter, was strong enough for her. I will definately look for more great reads by this author.

First time with this author.. the book was really good . At first I didn't care for Rachael, she was to prissy and snobby but towards the end she grew on me..I absolutely loved colts character..I loved the Witty banter between them..there were a few love scenes but I personally would have liked to see more passion..but over all a well written book..I would highly recommend .

Not What It Could Have Been...For Me Anyway
I want to start by saying that I, in no way, enjoy giving a negative review and even though I believe this book had a huge potential, it missed the mark. I liked the premise of the story but it could have been so much more. It moved much too slowly for me and I feel all could have been said in 225-250 pages instead of 316. I didn't care for how the chapters flipped flopped around. It caused some mild confusion and wasn't the easiest to understand or follow. I so tried not to skip certain chapters. It felt as though most of the information was not really pertinent and the repetition became...
