Black Enigma is just that. A mystery, that you want to figure out.
Sara created a character that even when she exasperated you, you're admiration and hope for her was not deterred. The story was drawn to keep you wanting to know what happened next. It is a can't put it down just yet book, until you get to the end, which obviously won't be until the sequel is in your hands and read. The story line is interesting, intriguing and emotional. The characters give an emotional connection whether it's dislike, love, or hatred. You become invested in what they are feeling and doing, so much so that you feel you are right there with them, and feeling their pain or

Engaging YA action story
I liked the sound of Enigma Black and it lived up to the promise. It's a nicely-paced action story that kept me turning the pages. The main character, Celaine, from whose point of view most of the story is told, is likeable and believable as a character. Having suffered much personal tragedy with the deaths of her entire family at the hands of the terrorist The Man In Black, Celaine rebuilds a perfect, happy life, before being offered an opportunity to join a group committed to stopping the activities of The Man In Black. From there, Celaine's journey is transformative and unpredictable, a

Fast paced, action packed and brilliant
All I can say is wow! This book surpassed all of my expectations and kept me hooked from beginning to end and I'm glad I received the professionally edited copy so I could read it without any trouble. This book is faced paced, action packed and took me on an emotional ride. I loved Celiane, she had a dry sarcastic sense of humor which I adored and made me laugh on occasions She was also strong willed and determined but Sara cleverly interwove moments of vulnerability to create an engaging character that I could sympathise with. Also because of this vulnerability it justified her actions, whi

So thrillingly awesome!!
From pagetrotter.blogspot.com I loved this book. So GD original! HOW have I missed this book?! Its a hybrid book, which threw me for a minute because how in the world would all these genre's mesh? It's science fiction, dystopian, romance, and political thriller all rolled into one. And guess what? It was awesome! I'm so glad Sara asked me to read this because I was getting seriously desensitized by the whole dystopian genre. How does it work in the literary world again? Oh yes, something gets popular and then we are flooded with these types of books with only 10% of being actually good qualit

Easy to stay with read
Note: I actually purchased this book. I spent my hard earned money to check out another dystopian writer. What I found pleased me. I don't rehash the story in my reviews. I see that others do that, so if you need the storyline, read one of those. I can tell you this, Sara's story flows well. It stays on point and when it jumps, you know it jumped. Never was I left guessing what the heck was going on in the action. That pleased me as a reader. It turns out our protagonist in this story is a woman. I can dig that. One of my upcoming novels will feature a strong female lead. I wasn't sure that

Gripping & action-packed with great wit
There has been a series of bombings across the USA, perpetrated by 'The Man in Black', and Celaine's family has been caught up in one of the most devastating, changing Celaine's life irrevocably. This is powerful and emotive storytelling and we are drawn into Celaine's world from the start as she tries to put her life back together. The trauma to Celaine's life is mirrored in the changes to the USA as the country, and all it stands for, is broken by these relentless attacks and the USA descends into dictatorship. But who is 'The Man in Black'? How does he single-handedly bring down a democra
