Truly Captivating!
There is no doubt this series makes my Top 10 list! The emotional turmoil, the action packed battles, the questioning silence, the snarky attitudes, the scorching hot need, all extremely well executed!! Not to mention these characters are some of my favorites ever! While reading this book I feel as if I were living it as it's happening, the scenes are so vividly detailed. And the newest little member is such a terrific addition! I can already feel the powerful scenes to come. This child will bring greatness! Can. Not. Wait. For. More!!!

There is just no going back after reading Scarlett Dawn's work; she is a magician when it comes to writing. I honestly have a hard time explaining how amazing this series is, the range of emotions I experienced reading this book went from empathy to loathing to extreme joy to extremely heated to laugh out loud surprised back to extreme joy to I need more about these amazing characters I have fallen in love with. Fabulous...and here's why:
In no particular order and SPOILER-FREE 1) Ezra and Lily. Their relationship was perfect, flawed but perfect. In romance books, I rarely equally like the two main characters of the romance. One usually steals my heart a little more than the other (usually the guy, because hey, I'm a gal) But both Lily and Ezra equally endeared themselves to me. From their strength and perseverance, unwavering love and absolute commitment to each other, I both LOVED them together and as individuals. And BONUS! NO MISCOMMUNICATION ANYWHERE TO BE SEEN! Fantasy is just as good!
**SPOILER FREE** I will not bang out the plot of this story since other reviewers have already done so. I am going to just give some opinion and references. 1) This is not a romance. This is straight up fantasy with some romantic elements. The reason I bring this up is because this popped up on my Amazon recommendations and I do not normally read straight up fantasy. So, if you were brought here by your recommendations, be aware. However, this is not a bad thing! This is a great book. 2) This is marketed as new adult but, after I read it, I would say it falls somewhere between YA and NA...s

Great new take on paranormal.
This was a great book. I loved this book from the beginning. It sucked me in. King Hall made me feel a whole rainbow of emotions. I was crying by the fifth chapter and totally intrigued. I enjoyed the growth the characters went through throughout the book. The "Prodigies" overcame adversity and learned to make decisions best for everyone. I was disappointed when it ended, I want more.

I will read this again and again!
This book was absolutely AMAZING! It hooks you in from page one, where the main character is in a sex-ed class. Unbelievably funny. What I liked the most about the book was that everything I assumed would happen, didn't. I love, love, love surprises like that! Then, the end... OMG! What a cliffhanger! I was screaming NOOOO!!! I can't wait for the next book in the series and want to recommend this book to everyone.
