Anticipation
A feel good romance much more thrilling due to the unusual plot. I love that there is nothing cookie cutter romance about it. Original! Ecstatic that the book did not end abruptly after the big reveal. A exciting plot with a feel good edge and a satisfying end. A book anyone will love!

was a cute story
I thought it was a cute story and really like the premise. I was disappointed about who Mr. X was thought. I really wanted it to be a different X, I think it would have been much more romantic, but then again it might have been predictable also. However since it wasn't theX I thought it should be the whole thing with that X was totally unnecessary, it didn't add anything to the story

Very Nice
What a lovely story. What a unique way to get to know someone; posting notes on a community bulletin board! Several reviewers said they had figured out who Mr. X was early on. I was looking for clues as I read but my guess turned out wrong. This was a very well written story and I enjoyed Jacobs banter with his Mr. X and ultimately solving the mystery.

Sweet...
My review is of mixed feelings...while I really did like it and it was sweet, I wasn't crazy about the "game" they played. If you really think about it Jacob became Scott in waiting to make his decision. Scott wanted to be able to say his choice was the right one and Jacob did the same thing...all three of them were Mr. X and it really wouldn't have mattered which one it was...so is it real?? I would have liked it more if he fell for the right one that indeed was Mr. X..

So worth reading
This is a short story but so worth reading. There is a lot that goes on. It's like being in a game of hide-n-seek. Jacob slowly lets go of the anger he's been carrying around for a long time. It was nice to see him open up to the possibility of allowing Mr. X into his life. I loved who Mr. X turned out to be. He was exactly who I was hoping for. The underlying tension between Jacob and his ex Scott is so very well done. The interviews between them made me feel the remorse they both carried and the brokenness of their relationship hurt. It was good to see Jacob letting go of the pain and the an

So CUTE!!!
This is a rather short piece, but it's absolutely adorable. Jacob gets an unintentional pen-pal when he posts a flier to the guy who mysteriously rips down his roommate ads, and shortly finds himself falling for his mysterious Mr. X. This story could have been better without the added complication of Jacob's ex-boyfriend, but I suppose taking Scott out of the story would make it even shorter than it already is. I usually don't like stories that base themselves around correspondence because often the letters (or texts, or whatever) can leave you feeling like you don't know the characters very
