Historical romance done right
I waited a long time for this book to come out to read Malik's story and it was well worth the wait. Diane is a worthy partner to Malik. He needed someone special. Excellent period piece and a nice twist on Jack the Ripper. ~P~

Woo Hoo a really good historical romance!!
First things first..Diana and Charles??? BWAHAHAHAHAHA Ok. I hate historicals but a vampire historical by Melissa Schroeder.definitely some good stuff!! I totally felt connected to Lady Diana (snicker) and everything she felt about herself and her past. Malik (like all of Melissas heros) is of course smokin hot and I can see why Diana would think he wasn't interested in her so when she finds out he is it is enticing. The mystery of the Ripper had me racing thru to see who done it!

I don't down-rate for proofreading and editing errors, but a couple were s

Love Schroeder...but this book lacked something.
I am a BIG Melissa Schroeder fan...but I gotta say, book 1 in the series was much more intriguing, unique, passionate, and attention-keeping. I just wasn't hooked on these characters. That Schroeder "zing" just wasn't there. I will continue reading other books in the series just to see where it is going, but I certainly hope the characters become more attractive.
