Great!!!!!!
I love Poppy . She is really brave. Never sits and waits to be rescued. She fights her own battles and assists in others. She is very strong in spirit. She is the Winter Queen. Kris is very funny. Love his name. Very funny. I love Thor and if he were real he would be Kris. The Winter King is so sweet as you can tell by his love of his family and friends. His sense of humor is perfectly matched with Poppy's. Love the battle scenes. Love the story.

Winter Just Got Better!
The Winter King took the King's series to another level. This book had everything the other books had and more for the first time we got a glimpse into the mind of the traitor and I have to say it was unusual to say the least but awesome in it's own way. This book was so good I did not see the ending coming now I'm just as confused as to who the traitor is. I cannot wait for the next installment in the King's series.

Ummmm
Ummmm I Loved the characters and the story of who they are but sometimes there was just too much history. It is like the author was so excited about the historical detail that she couldn't figure out what to leave behind. The gist of the story finally came through though and for that I am eternally grateful. Looking forward to the next one.

another awesome part of the kings series
I love this series and this book was another great contribution to it. Unlike the other stories in the Kings series, most of the other kings don't make an appearance. The story was squarely focused on the Winter King and his Queen, who were great together. Poppy accepted her role as queen slowly, but once she did, she was truly formidable and Kristopher's perfect compliment. The Time King and the Traitor make appearances in the book... I'm really hoping that The Time King's story comes next, because I would hate to find out that he is the traitor.

action packed read
I just finished reading the winter king and it blew me away. I have read almost all of Heather's books and she just keeps getting better and better. The characters are well developed and deep in personality. The plot line does not let you go. There was some reappearance of characters from previous books that lent just enough to the book. The growth of all of the characters and the involvement of some previous characters brought it up a notch to edge of the seat reading. I am already looking forward the next book.

There's a New King in Town
I really enjoyed this book. Kristopher is now my favorite king - he just has a way about him. I liked all of the winter scenes, scents, tastes, and, noises, etc. I see this as a book I'll pull out again midsummer to give myself a break from the heat - the imagery describing winter is intense. One of my favorite King's books yet..
