Bravo!
An astounding, hauntingly sensual and beautiful love story with each character an endearing gem; most importantly the deeply anguished and brooding, troubled Duke and the beautiful, intelligent, vivacious and continually forgiving heroine. This is a book difficult to put down and is one romance fans will choose as a keeper, wanting to revisit these characters and story again. A story of true love that grips from the very start, lifts the spirit, crashes down with an ache and yes, even a tear, only to suddenly have you soar to a delightful smile and a warm heart. This is what romance fans read

Excellent
It surprises me that I can enjoy a historical romance. But this one is well written. A beautifully haunting story. We're at times you want to take His Grace, And smack him upside the head. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this heartfelt story. Great job.

Sometimes a Duke can be less than honorable....
In the case of this duke as a result of his response to the seemingly betrayals in his life from people he thought loved him! He lost trust and was afraid to love! So much so, he kept using either icy demeanor or hateful words to protect his heart! I was appalled at the things he said and did for self defense of his emotional well being! This book had my undivided attention to the last words! I do recommend this book!

Until You
The hero was in fact a very troubled man, that had no in women. I truly did not like him very much until the end of the book. The heroine was young for a wife but not uncommon in those days. I admired her strength in character. I will have to say this is not the type of historical novel that I usually read. However, I am keeping this book in my kindle library. I am sure I will read it again in the future.

This was just an amazing heart warming tale
This was just an amazing heart warming tale. I enjoyed every second of it. The story was just great. Nicholas needed to be shaken up a lot because he was just horrible to Ashleigh for most of the book. I did enjoy finally seeing his change and cannot wait to read the next book.

Until You Review - this was one of the best books that I have read. I liked the ups and down of the relationship between Ashleig
This was one of the best books that I have read. I like the ups and downs of Ashleigh and Nicholas' relationship. However, I did think Ashleigh was a little too forgiving. I am looking forward to reading the next book.
