A dramatic way to find out the secrets your wife is hiding.
Tried out a little Intrigue for a change. This is about a husband and wife who've been skimming the surface for the last three years of their marriage. Mariah has some secrets, so even though she feels her husband Jake is not being completely open to her, she doesn't probe, afraid he will ask questions about her own past. As it is, just about everything she has told him about her childhood, the father of her little boy Micah and even her name, is a lie. Hitched and Hunted
This book was a good introduction into the trilogy. Jake and Mariah already married for three years just learning about each other seemed a little off base. Mariah lying about her past is understandable to a point. She doesn't want her husband to know about her past because of the violence, but I don't foresee Jake as being one who wouldn't have accepted it considering the Cooper family we've already learned about. Parts of this book were a little hard to believe: Victor Logan was not the smartest bulb as a bad guy though Mariah would refer to him as smart. His obsession with her didn't

Will keep you entertained
I enjoyed the book, but it left me confused on some of Mariah's past, her behavior and the obsession about her. Some of it felt forced. That being said, the story was still engaging and kept me interested as the pace of events continued to pick up speed.
