Loved it!!!!
This review may contain spoilers...read at own risk. The love, adoration, and flat out devotion that Nicholas has for Sarah is something most girls can only dream about. From the minute he saw her it's like he just....knew. Sarah's home life is a nightmare & Nicholas feels so helpless about her situation & because of a promise made to Sarah he never tells anyone about it...even as he sits by her hospital bedside crying over her battered & broken body. After Sarah's hospital stay, she returns home to find her abuser long gone but his habitual mistreatment has already scarred her in ways she can

Floored!
There is something about reading a love story where the only thing that gets in the way is life. No lies, cheating, scheming or those other outside forces that make everyone miserable. Just...LIFE. I LOVED this book. Everyone deserves a Nicholas Rossi in their life. What an amazing character to experience. A strong lead character with an amazing heart. It helps that he was good looking too...lol What can I say about Sarah? Her life was hard. I mean, really hard. But, she is strong. I admired her strength in this book, even dealing with what she dealt with. More than anything, I loved Sarah and

Truly a good read. Nicholas and Sarah loved each other since ...
Truly a good read. Nicholas and Sarah loved each other since before teen years. Her dad was so abusive. They literally loved each other so much. When Sarah started using drugs it tore them apart. Then Nicholas's mom tells him she died. He totally just gave up. After 7 years he just happens to put her name in a search and it comes up. To find out how this book turns into the best love story, You must read it. Great job, Jamie Deschain

Unexpected Twists And Turns
I went into this book blind. This was a new author and I had no expectations one way or another. It had some dark moments in the first half of the book and I quickly realized this was no run of the mill love story. Nicholas and Sarah met when they were 16 years old and lived in Hells Kitchen. It was love at first sight but Sarah was hiding a terrible home life which eventually tore them apart. This is a story about second chances, forgiveness, pain, heartbreak and big love. I typically don't like anything this dark but this book was well written and the characters real and gritty. There

HEARTWRENCHING LOVE STORY
This is one heartbreaking book. I don't often cry when I read books but this one had me. Jamie is a new romance author and if his next books are written as good or better than this, he definitely has a future in romance. I wanted to hate Nicholas for keeping her secret, but I understand that he had to keep Sarah's trust. I hated his mom even more for most of the book. Sarah's father was beyond redemption if you ask me. This book has all of the elements I look for in a romance novel: young blossoming love, hidden pain and suffering, the ability to nurture, heal and forgive. Does it also have

Very good story.
Yes, I ugly cried. This book will do that....UGLY! CRY! It unleashed so many emotions and held me so captive that I didn't watch any football Sunday, and during football season that's unheard for me. Read this book because everyone needs a good cleansing cry every once in a while. Good for the soul. Makes you realize how human you are. Luckily as much as it breaks you down, bares your soul, unleashes your deepest emotions, and grips your heart in a vice grip, it will then turn and put everything back in place nice and neatly. But you will break before that happens, and it won't be an easy
